Here’s A Chance To Get Ghostwire: Tokyo And Two Other Games For $5

Ghostwire: Tokyo is great, and there are few games like it available right now. The first-person Ether Weaving serves as a stylish alternative to the weapons found in most FPS games, while its atmosphere remains unmatched. It delivers spooky vibes without becoming outright terrifying. It’s a game I constantly recommend, and right now, you could be lucky enough to get it and two other Steam games for just $5.
Developed by Tango Gameworks, the studio behind The Evil Within and the more cartoonish Hi-Fi Rush, Ghostwire: Tokyo sits comfortably between those two extremes. Unlike Sebastian’s harrowing journey in The Evil Within, Ghostwire leans into Japanese folklore, transforming traditional spirits and legends into memorable enemies.
You play as Akito, who is fatally injured in a car accident before being saved by a spirit named KK. Moments later, a mysterious fog rolls through Tokyo, transforming most of the city’s population into hostile entities known as Visitors. Thanks to KK, Akito survives, and it’s up to the pair to uncover the mystery behind the fog and the man wearing the Hannya mask.

The fog transforms the once-bustling city into an eerie ghost town, but around almost every corner lurk spirits waiting to attack. Fortunately, KK grants Akito access to Wind, Fire, and Water Weaving abilities. They function much like different weapons, letting you attack enemies from a distance or overwhelm them up close with powerful elemental attacks. Swapping between them quickly becomes essential.
Despite being almost five years old, I still recommend Ghostwire: Tokyo whenever I get the chance. It feels like the overlooked game in Tango Gameworks’ catalog, sandwiched between two beloved releases, yet it deserves far more attention than it receives. If we get a Ghostwire sequel sometime in the next decade, I’ll be very happy.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is just one of the many games you could receive in the Mystery VIP Bundle from Fanatical, which gives you three games for just $4.99 / £4.99. You could also receive Doom Eternal, Pathologic 3, or, if you’re lucky, a VIP Pack, which can include titles like Invincible VS, Gothic 1 Remake, or even the upcoming Beast of Reincarnation. Even if you don’t get Ghostwire: Tokyo or one of the elusive VIP Packs, you’ll still walk away with three new games in your Steam library.
