Home Sweet Home – The time loop tower in The Blood of Dawnwalker
The Blood of Dawnwalker’s time loop sequence occurs in a strange place called Ambrosius Tower. It’s in The Silts region in the southern edge of the world map.
At first glance, you might think that it’s just a regular Scouting Tower, one that reveals other points-of-interest. However, upon entering it, you’ll realize that something’s amiss.
Ambrosius Tower

There are several soldiers inside, as well as a Witch-archetype miniboss named Svetlana the Dark Prodigy.
If you keep climbing up, you can take a peek through a door to see a mysterious man who’s about to enact a ritual.
Save your game at this stage.
When you’re ready, open the door, which costs 4x Time Segments.

Time loop: Coen’s family and combat encounters
As soon as you go through the door, you’ll come to realize that you’re back in Coen’s home in Laslea. This kickstarts The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home quest.
This is basically the start of the prologue. Heck, you can even chop firewood, though it’s just an optional task. Once you approach your family and talk to Coen’s mother, Esme, all hell breaks loose. A Gargoyle monster suddenly swoops in and kidnaps everyone.
You have to save your “family.”
Your goal in Home Sweet Home is to rescue Coen’s family. There are three areas with combat encounters:

First area (Esme) – Defeat the Spectral Skeletons.
Second area (Lunka, Yanna, and Mirto) – Defeat the Vidmo Specters.
Third area (Pieter) – Defeat the Keeper of Nightmares Gargoyle miniboss.

Note: Although you still have access to your abilities and perks, the difficulty ramps up considerably since Coen only has common/grey gear equipped. You won’t be able to use your high-end gear at all. Worse, you’re limited to just a smattering of healing items, such as sausages and any crafting ingredients that you can loot.

You’ll face creatures like Spectral Skeletons (left) and even a Gargoyle miniboss (right).
How to escape the time loop
To escape the time loop, you need to complete one full run. Then, on your second run, progress normally through the level until you defeat the enemies in the second area–i.e. The Vidmo Specters.
After telling your siblings to head to the church, do not press forward to where you fight the Gargoyle. Instead, activate Focus Mode and look at the well in the yard. A voice will call out to you and, if you interact with the well, you’ll be transported to another location.
Note: If you want to see an entirely different outcome, save your game just before you investigate the well.
Here’s your escape path.
Secret ending: Together Forever – What happens if you keep reliving the time loop?
You can unlock a secret ending in The Blood of Dawnwalker if you keep pressing onward, redoing the time loop over and over:

Keep redoing everything until your fourth run. As usual, Coen’s family members will get killed in the church.
You’ll find yourself back in your house for the fifth sequence.
The moment you talk to Esme, she’ll say that you’re trapped with your entire family forever.
The cutscene ends as Coen’s family creepily smiles and crowds around him. This unlocks the “Together Forever” achievement.

Now that’s just disturbing.
The escape: Facing your guilt
Let’s say you want to escape The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home time loop. Here’s what you need to do:

Interact with the well and talk to the shadow version of Coen. Choose “Alin” as a reply when prompted.
When you’re able to move, use your Shadowstep/Planeshift to traverse the ledges.
Pass through the portal to reach another memory, one that shows a funeral. You have to choose the correct responses to help the priest with his sermon. Pick: Alin -> Esme -> Coen.
Run to the final area and slide down the cliff’s edge. There, you’ll come face to face with Coen’s (other) younger brother, Alin. It’s revealed that Alin drowned when he and Coen were playing. Coen’s guilt caused him to block that traumatic memory.

Relive Coen’s traumatic memories.
Home Sweet Home rewards
Coen will then wake up, back in the real world, much to the chagrin of the astrologer conducting the ritual. Once you regain control of him, you can pick up various goodies:

Astrologer’s Ring (legendary ring) – Loot it from Ambrosius. It buffs witchcraft ability damage, witchcraft ability cooldown, AC restoration (actions), and AC restoration (passive).
Recipe for Supernatural’s Blood Infusion – Also looted from Ambrosius.
Flask of Quicksilver – This item is on the top floor of the tower.
Scouting Tower and Unnatural Resilience Manual – If you haven’t done so just yet, exit the tower and climb to the top. Scout the area using the windwave to reveal points-of-interest. The balcony also has a chest that contains a manual.

The astrologer forgot to check if his horoscope said he’d be lucky today.
