The Palworld series is expanding. Garena has announced Palworld Online, a new MMORPG for mobile, which the developer is making under a licensing deal with Palworld developer Pocketpair.
Garena will develop and publish Palworld Online for iOS and Android. The game aims to reimagine the “depth, freedom, and scale” of the main game for mobile. Palworld Online will have new, original story elements, along with MMO features like a “seamless, interconnected open world,” Garena said. The game has cooperative and competitive elements, just like the main game does.
A first look at Palworld Online.
Garena president Terry Zhao said the company is “working closely” with Pocketpair on Palworld Online.
As for its mobile-first design philosophies, Garena said the game features a “streamlined, touch-friendly interface” with the option for one-tap controls.
Palworld Online is scheduled for release in 2026, with more details to be announced later. So far, just a single screenshot (above) has been released.
As for the main game, Palworld just recently launched its long-awaited 1.0 edition, and it’s helped the game see a big surge in players. The game had more than 500,000 peak concurrent users on Steam alone this past weekend.
