Three torque settings and plenty of bits in this set. You normally only need one bit for a PC build, maybe two if there are small screws on the motherboard for the SSD covers, but this kit has you covered either way. I own it, and it’s great so far.

I hadn’t heard of Hoto before I got this screwdriver, either. It’s not exactly a known brand. Though it is popular option on Amazon and that was enough for me to take the plunge late last year. And, hey, I’ve been pretty impressed with it since.

I built a PC over the weekend and my partner gave me a hand. I gave her the electric Hoto while I took the manual driver (I’m nice like that) and she was genuinely impressed with it and remarked on how much time it saves.

It comes with a handful of bits: all the important ones you need for a PC build or any reasonable tech job. You will want something smaller, thinner, and more agile for complex or small jobs—the bits don’t go that small on the Hoto—but for a PC build, there’s not much else you need that the Hoto doesn’t deliver. It’s great for fitting a motherboard in record time.
It has three different torque settings for various jobs, up to 4 Nm, though torque setting 1 is perfectly adequate and powerful for a PC build. I used it for a bit of home maintenance and torque setting 2 worked well for that.
The battery life is great in my experience, as I have only charged it a handful of times since getting it. And I build a lot of PCs. It’s a 1,500 mAh battery and it charges via a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
