It’s Amazon Prime Day, and it’s hot. Combine that with a lack of air conditioning, and it’s easy to feel sweaty and miserable. Still, one thing always cheers me up: Lego. Particularly Prime Day Lego deals, where the prices fall to seriously tempting levels.
Not only do I love building Lego, but my friends and family do, too. Which means now’s the perfect time to shop for birthday gifts, or holiday presents. Or, y’know, for yourself—just to bring a bit of brightness to your day.

I’m particularly fond of this Lego Star Wars Millenium Falcon kit for $68 at Amazon, as my model sits pride of place on the shelves above me as I type. And I’m already getting my wallet ready for this Imperial Star Destroyer for $112, which will soon join it. Or perhaps I’ll save some cash and pick up a neon green Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat kit for $22 instead. Or will I go for the big red Ferrari FXX K for a mere $52?
Decisions, decisions. Still, Lego rocks. Bring a little joy to your life in these testing times, that’s what I say. We’re all big kids really, after all.
